Mullaloo Beach, just 20 minutes from Perth.

Mullaloo beach is one of Perth's top beaches.

To get to the beach. If you are near the Mullaloo surf life saving club you can enter the beach area on either side of the club.

If you are a little further up or down there are a number of access points that you can use.

The weather is wonderful with the temperature hovering in the 25o to 30o C rangeand there is a gentle breeze blowing which is cooling things down to a nice level.

Rangers patrol the beach on quad bikes making sure that all is OK. It really is a family type beach.
I also noticed a tractor type vehicle emptying the rubbish bins and keeping the beach clean and tidy.

As you top the sand dunes the beach vista opens up before your eyes, and there it is, the pristine waters of the Indian ocean.

The sand area is about 100 m or 110 yards wide and is very clean and soft to sit on.
The beach at the moment seems to be populated by young school kids, folks in their 20s to 30s and quite a few people who look like they may have reached retirement age.

It is quite lovely sitting here and observing the kids cavorting in the small surf.

And just down the beach a bit I can see a serious game of beach volleyball happening between 2 mixed teams and they seem to be having fun.

Opps! There's a couple of girls sunbathing topless, nobody seems to be bothered at all.

Just to my left the lifesavers are on duty, theyare keeping a careful eye on those using the water.

Just to my right there are 2 girls and a guy speaking what sounds like a European language. So Mullaloo beach seems to attract all sorts of folks.

I can see about 1 mile in either direction and there is only about 200 to 300 people enjoying Mullaloo's wonderful beach, maybe because it is mid week.

I forgot to mention that the surf lifesaving club has a kiosk that sells cool drinks, ice cream and the like.

There are at least two grassed areas with shady trees and shelters where you can go to get out of the sun or to have a picnic.

A couple have arrived with what looks like small canoe type boats. We will see how they go.
Right the guy has launched his canoe and he is off and racing.

Hello! The folks with surf skis are here and launching their craft, Boy! don't those things fly when they get going?

If you are a little hungry or would love an icy cold drink, a game of pool, a relaxed atmosphere, wonderful food and a great place to cool off, then The Mullaloo Beach Hotel is just over the road from the beach. It really is nice inside and from personal experience I can tell you, the beer is cold.

The Mullaloo Beach Hotel jumps on Friday and Saturday nights and also during the Sunday sessions.

All sorts of folks attend and you may even see some backpackers, who turned out to be very nice people indeed, when I spoke to some them.

The hotel has strict dress requirements after 5pm.

They ask that all, wear good casual clothing, No thongs, T/shirts and No singlet's.So please be aware of this policy when you attend.

As you can see from the photo, the entryway is the stairs in the center of the building.

The stairs lead up to the bars and restaurants on the 1st floor.Extensive glass allows you to enjoy the views which includes the Indian ocean and the foreshore area whilst you have a meal or a drink or two.

The top story is the accommodation offered by the Mullaloo Beach Hotel.
The accommodation on offer is 1st class with many features and amenities.
The entrance to the accommodation area is a secure area and patrons are issued with Key security for the lift, rooms and the entryway. It really is a lovely place so what are you waiting for?
