The Kimberley is now ready for you

In the North West the wet season is over and the roads and tracks are being opened as we speak.

The best time to enjoy the Kimberly is now, before the main tourist season starts.Accommodation is plentiful and a bit cheaper so if you are coming from afar to see Perth or Western Australia Then you may need accommodation and this is a great place To find your accommodation for any Perth events and Western Australian happenings You will find a list of Perth hotels to choose from.

In fact I am going to be living there soon, as I just love the place, so I am moving to

Kununurra so when you travel there be sure to pay me a visit, I do not bite and I am quite socialable, so I would love to see you up there enjoying yourself and perhaps having a beer with me.

The Avon Descent will be back for 2008
and held on August 2nd and 3rd. Australia's premier white water adventure is a must see event.

Australia's No 1 Surf lifesaving Carnival is coming to Scarborough Beach again next year 2009. Make sure you get there to support the girls and boys who do so much to make our lives safer.

The Australian Safari is coming again in 2008

The start of the Australasian Safari, takes place in the main street of Kalgoorlie on the afternoon of August 23, the anticipated record field will face a gruelling 3300 competitive kilometres across the rugged Western Australia outback during the seven day event.

Just getting to the finish line in Perth on Saturday August 30 will be a significant achievement.

Competitors from all over the World will ensure that the competition is hot and a spot on the podium is much sought after by all competitors. Victory in each of the three key competition categories – car, motorbike and quad bike - will rightly be savoured, and the winners revered.

There is a total of approximately 4300 kilometres of the roughest country in Australia to be traveled by the competitors

The Western Australian wild flower season is over but will be back about August.

The wild flower season is coming soon, (August) the flowers will be blooming in Kalbarri and the North West and what a wonderful sight they make.

They are also begin to open in the South West of the state a little later. You can easily take a day trip to Nannup or Pemberton where you will feast your eyes on the splendor of these wild flowers which are spread right across the South West of Western Australia.

The wild flower season ends about November.

The Margaret surf classic

is coming soon for all to see and enjoy.

This 28 year old event is a well loved surf classic that attracts some 200 competitors and thousands of spectators
each time it is run.

The Margaret surf classic has an international reputation and Surfer's Point is a world class location which features massive swells, spring weather and an excellent festive weekend atmossphere.

The River Classic is the most sought-after event on the Western Australian surf calendar.

The Red Bull Air Race will return in November 2008.

These intrepid men in their amazing machines will be back to entertain us once again with the last round of the world championship.

These dare devil pilots in their high performance planes will amaze you with their spectacular and dangerous stunt flying in the skies above the Swan river near the Perth city foreshore.

The now annual event will run from Nov 3 to Nov 4 2007
