Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula

Has got it all.

Beautiful, historic Geelong. Victoria's 2nd largest city is just 73kms from Melbourne. It is a city of many flavours from the historic buildings to the ritzy restaurants and the pristine beaches up and down the coast.

Geelong and the surrounding area has long been a favourite weekend destination of urban Melbourneites along with their fellow Victorian country cousins.

The city has much to offer visitors and caters beautifully for all ages and age groups.

Chris GREAT job, awesome well done,
I just spent a short time 30 mins to an hour browsing
your web site and it is so well written with great pics etc,

hope your getting something for the hard work you have done on it.
Well I know you are as I have just booked a holiday in Perth in Feb
through your site and that hotel mob, "The Hotel Club" of yours
got me my accommodation in no time flat and cheap too.
I will give you a call when I get to Perth and maybe we can
have a beer together

Some of the things that you can see and do in and around Geelong are -

  • Visit and wonder at the futuristic Botanic Gardens.
  • Learn about the local Aboriginal culture at Narana Creations.
  • Check out and ride the Carousel at the water front.

  • and while you are there try some of the fabulous water front restaurants.
  • There are plenty of vineyards to visit and you can taste their wines as well.
  • Like golf? There are at least golf courses where you can test your golf skills.
  • Do you fancy some swimming with seals and dolphins

  • at Queenscliff just out of Geelong. While you are the make sure that you check out the Military Fortress at Queenscliff.

There is much to see and do at Geelong but this site is about Perth and Western Australia so I can't write too much about Geelong. So if you would like to know more the Geelong area please visit my friend Marly's web site for All the best information about Geelong and the Bellarine Penonsula. Marly will be able to tell you all the good goss about Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula.
