A fun shot of me
It’s easy to see why Kalbarri is one of Australia’s most popular holiday resorts.
You can swim, water-ski and kayak, or hire paddle boats, dinghies and windsurfers on the river foreshore. And the fishing, words alone cannot describe just how great it is.
Things to do at Kalbarri -
Horse riding along the beaches.
Take one of the many Fishing Charters.
Go exploring, sight seeing, fishing, diving, surfing..... or just plain relax. Join a fishing charter for the catch of a lifetime, or even
throw in a line from the beach and see what you come up with,
either way, you are going to catch some magnificent fish. In the National Park there are some 800 or so species
of wildflowers that burst into glorious bloom every year from July to October. it is an absolute riot of color that will stun you. Hike through the ancient and dramatic gorges or go for a leisurely cycle along miles of uninterrupted coastline, stopping at the many turquoise bays to cool off.
For the energetic, there’s abseiling, hiking, tennis, golf and surfing. Bird lovers can visit a parrot breeding center with tropical gardens and waterfalls, make a small donation and support their mission to save the endangered species. And, don’t miss the daily feeding of the pelicans on the foreshore.
His beak holds more than his belly can.
And you can’t beat an invigorating horse-ride along the beach at sunset.

With so much to do in town you really should allow yourself plenty of time to explore the outer areas.
My second trip this year in August took eight days and I was fully occupied with fishing, diving and taking some inland tours and I still did not get it all done.
So it's back again next year to see the rest. ( Beautiful area, I love the Kalbarri region.)
