Kalbarri National Park is without a doubt one of the Western Australia’s most magnificent and accessible national parks and it is easy to get there from the town and takes about 30 minutes to get to them.
You will be able to see the steep gorges, carved out of the rugged red terrain over millions of years providing some amazing trekking and the most amazing scenery that you will ever see.
Also the wildflowers are about to bloom which adds to the beauty of this great escape destination.

There are the spectacular red rock gorges, rugged coastal cliffs, colorful wildflowersand the Murchison River with it's pure white sandy beaches and beautiful swimming holes for you to relax on and in.
That's me at the gorge called Natures Window and it's beautiful there.
This wonderful holiday destination is situated where the Murchison River meets the Indian Ocean and is a mere six-hour drive north of Perth. The town and surrounding area is warm and sunny most of the year.
To add to this picture-perfect scene, the whales and their calves migrate along the coast and dolphins frolic in the bay. This friendly and spectacular town is also one of the most popular Western Australian destinations and is an internationally renowned vacation destination.

Join a fishing charter for the catch of a lifetime, or even throw in a line from the beach and see what you come up with, either way, you are going to catch some magnificent fish.
In the National Park there are some 800 or so species of wildflowers that burst into glorious bloom every year from July to October. it is an absolute riot of color that will stun you.
Hike through the ancient and dramatic gorges or go for a leisurely cycle along miles of uninterrupted coastline, stopping at the many turquoise bays to cool off.
For the energetic, there’s abseiling, hiking, tennis, golf and surfing.
Bird lovers can visit a parrot breeding center with tropical gardens and waterfalls,make a small donation and support their mission to save the endangered species.
And, don’t miss the daily feeding of the pelicans on the foreshore.

With so much to do in town you really should allow yourself plenty of time to explore the outer areas.
My second trip this year in August took eight days and I was fully occupiedwith fishing, diving and taking some inland tours and I still did not get it all done.
So it's back again next year to see the rest. ( Beautiful area, I love the Kalbarri region.)
