Scarborough beach,absolutely beautiful.
Scarborough beach has long been known as one of Perth's best beaches for lazing in the sun, swimming, surfing and even for fishing. The pristine sand and waters of Scarbie beach are an aquatic marvel where tens of thousands of people have a great day enjoying all the fun things to do here on each and every visit. This beautiful beach is a mere 15 minute drive from Perth's city center along Scarborough beach road. Scarbie beach is a great beach for all ages and types of people as it does not seem to matter who you are or what you like, you will find it all here and love it as I do.

The beach front is patrolled by surf lifesavers who make sure that the water is safe for you to enjoy. They are all volunteers who donate their time to make you and I safe as we enjoy the beach and all that it offers.

If you are hungry or thirsty then just over the road from the beach is the Observation City Resort which offers many different styles of 4 star restaurants, bars and wonderful things to see and do.
The Rendezvous Observation City Hotel is a extravagant paradise on the spectacular Sunset Coast, Western Australia. It overlooks the shimmering white sands of Scarborough Beach, and mile upon miles of crystal blue, pristine waters, where you'll discover the very soul of Scarborough Beach. the Rendezvous Observation City Hotel Scarborough Beach is Perth's only international quality beachside hotel. Having eaten in 2 of Observation City Hotels restaurants I can recommend them to you for the quality of service and the excellent food served there. You will not do better along the whole of Perth's coastal strip.
If you prefer something a little less upmarket then try Peters by the Sea. Peters serves both cold and hot foods and drinks and have shaded tables where you can eat and drink in comfort and peace. Peters has a fun loving staff who will make your meal a joy as they crack a joke or tell you a tale or two.

And if you are into picnics with your family or friends then this beach has just the spot for you. The grassed area has plenty of space and shade spots for an enjoyable family picnic.

As we consider the question of your favourite beaches in Western Australia it may be worth thinking about what others say about the best beaches in the world... Recently the Times awarded this most coveted title to one of Seychelles Islands' beaches in the Indian Ocean.
