Make sure you get up early to enjoy these lovely views.

The South Wests forests also come into splendid life during the winter period as the increase in rainfall nourishes the trees and plants with life giving water, causing many to flower in magnificent displays of color and shape. Definitely a sight not to be missed.

And it is the time for romantic winter breaks which seem even more alluring when you think of a log fires, warm comfortable beds, lazing and relaxing on soft,luxurious sofas as you sample the local wines.

The magnificent South West is renowned for it's marvelous food and wines and you can enjoy these pleasures at some of the most laid back,cosy restaurants in the country.

There are many warm, sunny days where shorts and shirt are more than enough to keep you warm and cosy. On the warm days the colors seem to be extra vibrant. The greens of the landscapes are dazzling and the sky is an even more intense blue than is normal.

Take advantage of these warm and sunny days, they are ideal for driving down the highways and byways marveling at the tall, spectacular Karri and Tingle forests which are not too far from the rugged coastal cliffs, hidden coves and great beaches.
